for anyone interested there is a book out now on the royal albert orphanage called if ONLY THESE WALLS COULD SPEAK there is personal recollections of 33 of the children who lived there my father being one of those who lived there pm me if you would like details dave

Hi, I came across a post by you on researching the Royal Albert Orphanage building history.

I also found a website www.bagshotvillage.org.uk-raos-index.shtml that has some photo's on it that you may not have so I thought I would share the link.  There are several comments by previous schoolkids there.
