Hi Marianne
Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one. I am doing a bit of housekeeping work on this board and wondered if you have made any progress, or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?
Have you checked out all the general Ireland Links at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,152272.0.html ?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes

Hi, it is so frustrating to know that there is a reply but my local library (Rochdale) will not let me access it. I am on my travels at the moment. No I have not persued the Irish connection yet. My grandmother and grandfather were born in Ireland. Mary Murphy in Dublin in 1888, her husband Thomas was born in Ireland, as was Patrick who brought his young family to Oldham. I am catching up with another of his grandchildren, James whose wife died of Spanish 'Flu in 1917. Thanks for your interest.

The Rochdale library blocks the RootsChat site, so I have to use alternative access, sometimes my mobile phone, at £6 per hour!! Other libraries are OK. Marianne

Hi Marianne,
The information you sent me Re: Alice Ingham was invaluable, so don't waste your money on mobile calls, if i can help from Rochdale end, or yearly visits to Ireland, i will do my utmost for you :)
Cheers

Thanks Tony, I will have to go across the sea to Ireland. But Moston Cemetery is where I need to go. Have you seen the book 'Irish Families, by Edward MacLysaght, by Allen Figgis, Dublin 1972?
