At West Lothian Centre yesterday, West Calder was part of Midlothian in 19th century. The farm is still fully functional but its history will be in a Midlothian collection. The valuation rolls are held in the Central Library so will have a look when I am in next week. If you contact the Midlothian Local Studies Centre in Loanhead (details on their site - local.studies[at][/blue]midlothian.gov.uk ) They may be able to give you more. T
