Title: How do I make a Posting?
Post by: Salesian on Tuesday 21 September 10 21:19 BST (UK)
Greetings,

I have logged on and would like to know how I may Post a New Question.
Also, I can't get anything response when I select the "Chatterbox" Tab above.  What is Chaterbox for? Can anyone help?

     My   Regards.

Hello and welcome to rootschat.

You make a post in the same way as you made this one.  Find the board most relevant to your question ( county, technical etc.) click to box to start a new topic and off you go.

Chatterbox is a chat room - I don't use it so can't explain why you can't enter but I'm sure someone else can.

Enjoy rootschat - hope you get an answer to your question.

Christine

I can get into Chatterbox.  I wonder if it has the same restriction as Personal Messages - you need to make 3 posts before you can use it

I noticed you in there Danuslave. Kim got rather excited that she could have live chat with Danu - but that's another story.

Chatterbox is a fantastic, friendly, easy to use "Live" chat room.

Us regulars often hang around talking small talk waiting to see if we can help someone.

When you click on the chatterbox tab you will get a blue screen with lots of names on the right hand side (if you are in at a popular time).

there is a navy blue rectangle at the bottom of the page underneath were everyone's post come up.

By now someone will have said hi to you. Click in the rectangle at the bottom and type something. Then press the send button.

Hope that helps, cheers Ted
