Title: Benjamin Morgan marriage - Bristol
Post by: tamor on Monday 20 September 10 16:24 BST (UK)
Hi,
I'm still trying to find out more information about my gggg grandfather, Benjamin Morgan who lived in Bristol in the early 1800's. I have found a possible marriage for him on the familysearch site to a Mary Dibble in 1804. The batch no is M012752. Does anyone know which parish in Bristol this would be?
Regards,
Toni

Toni and Sharon,

You will have found that the entry giving the batch number in the IGI gives no Source Call number i.e. LDS film number.

However, if you search at the LDS Pilot site - http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start - you will be given the film number 1597125 together with the batch number.

Go to the IGI site and check the film in the LDS Library catalogue for the answer to your query.

Regards

Chas

P.S.

You may wonder why the place is not given but I would ask, "Why should the place be given?" because the source film of BT's or PR's is given so the location can be easily found.   I will never use the old family search site except as a last resort. :o       Chas.
