I have the following information and would love to get back farther to John & Catherines ancestors

John Reid   born 1837  Ballanigee     Catherine Carty  born  1834 Carrinfinn
married 1857  Tubberclare, West Meath

Children John b 1862, William b 1858, Michael ??, Thomas b 1871, Mary ???

Hello Mary, I have a lot of Carty connections in that area through Conlons, Mc Canns, and more. Unfortunately befor 1860 or so. They were from Killinure/ Benown in Glasson area. Also knew the Reids that married the Fagans that owned the store in Glasson. Bob

There are about 60 Reids listed in Meath early 1850s see www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/ the earlier records might include the tithe applotment books  and church records or familysearch.com etc Good luck JimG
