Hi,i just wondered why my computer number was on show in my messages,and it seems everyon-elses it says logged?.Ive looked in my profile and theres no way i can find to put it as logged.Can anyone help?.Thank you very much.Love Ann.xxxx ;D

I knew the answer to this, once !
The number you see is an IP-Address (Internet address). I'm don't know whose, but probably from your Internet provider.
Only you see this, as it only concerns you. Each RootsChatter sees "their" IP-Address number, but for everybody else, they only see "logged"

ps: if you click on it, another window opens, with this message:
Your IP address is shown only to you and moderators. Remember that this information is not identifying, and that most IPs change periodically.
You cannot see other member's IP addresses, and they cannot see yours.

I was wondering what the IP address did in the box and it also says logged. Need not ask anymore as the question has been answered. Great website and you can find most things here! Why did I not join earlier!
