Title: Civil Parish Cork
Post by: kpeet71 on Saturday 11 September 10 06:48 BST (UK)
Does anyone know what civil parish 'Dillons Cross' Co: Cork' is in?  It doesn't come up on the usual placename searches.

I only have a family bible entry to go on which states 'Sunview, Dillons Cross, Cork'.

Might be St Patricks.

Civil Parish for Dillons Cross - St. Ann's Shandon

See the 1890s OSI map - link (http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,568703,573216,7)
Sun View place is marked on the map. Press 8 to view the one from the 1890s. The junction just to the east of Sun View is Dillon's Cross. Zoom out on the map to see the name on the Civil parish.
