Hi, the graveyard lies directly next to Lesmahagow Old Parish Church in Church Square on Abbeygreen, I haven't been in it for some time now but next time i am i will try to get confirmation of the location.
Otherwise there is a Lesmahagow Parish Historical Association or Robert McLeish (Geneology/local history) who may be able to help. Both contact details are on the Lesmahagow Community Council website under directory and social groups

I've checked the MI's book for Lesmahagow Churchyard and unfortunately none of your names are listed there.

Thank you for your speedy replies, I would assume then that there is no headstone. I will contact the historical society as per your suggestion. Once again thank you.

I had asked Helen at http://www.scottish-monumental-inscriptions.com to add Lesmahgow cemetery to the list of places to cover. She said it was on the list along with the churchyard, although that was sometime ago, they seem to have been busy covering alot of graveyards over the past year. You could try dropping her a line to see if Lesmahgow is getting done soon.
The other thing is that the MI book I have for Lesmahagow is for pre 1855 stones. Incriptions added after that date are included but only if the stone was pre-existing to Statutory Registration.

I can find only one stone with the Bow name on it in the Lesmahagow churchyard, It's a stone with inscriptions on both sides. The abbreviated transcription I have reads: (Top) Thomas Baxter (Back) Thomas Baxter Kirkmuirhill died 6.10.1881. (Front) Erected by John Bow died 7.10.1854 age 38, to father James died 10.4.1853 age 60, mother Cath Campbell died 11.10.1854 age 61, daughter Flora died 23.2.1854 age 2.
hope this helps.

Curious a lookup of both Boe and Bow for the Deaths/Burials of James Boe and Catharine Boe/Campbell from Scots people yield no results in 1853 and 1854

My book of pre 1855 death records for Lesmahagow, has the following:
Mrs Boe, Bogside, 9 May 1838 age 89
Janet Boe, Abbey Green, May 1816 age 21
Margret Boe, Abbeygreen, 18 October 1824 age 6
William Boe, September 1818 age 70.
The 1821 census that survives has a few Boe in it:
Abbey Green, John Tennant and M Boe with 1 male and 2 females in the household
Netherburn, John Gray and Janet Boe with 6 males and 4 females ...
Parknow, Mrs Boe lives alone
Rottenrow, James Boe and Catherine Campbell, 2 males and 3 females....
I think that's all I can find on the Boe name.

That's some of them thank you very much
