Hi Davey,
Hilda Ethel Emma Hart married Herbert Henry Sutton 1912
Thirza Mary Hart married Harold John Cooper 1917
Since George Hart doesn't have a middle name, hard to see which George Hart got married.

This is most likely Robert George, with his names turned around the birth year fits.
George Robert Summerville, aged 69 cremated 30 November 1973 at Purewa

If someone gets the death notice for you, it should tell you the actual death date, plus any family members.

I'm trying to find the connection between two Seagoe Parish families who emigrated to Pukekohe, NZ.
John HART and Mary Ann (nee McMURRAY) from Ballygargan arrived in 1865.
George WILSON and Judith (nee HENRY) from Ballymacrandal/Ballymacrandle/Ballymacrander etc. (neighbouring townland to Ballygargan) arrived in 1880.
The HART and WILSON children knew each other as "second cousins", so a parent (or perhpas grandparent) from each of these couples must have been first cousins. But which two? And how were they cousins?
I know nothing about the parents of John HART and Mary Ann McMURRAY, but I do have some information on those of George WILSON and Judith HENRY.
George's parents were George WILSON (whose mother was a CALVERT) and Sophia BRADSHAW m. 3 Sep 1835 in Seagoe. They had at least two children, George (the one who emigrated to Pukekohe) and James who kept farming in Ballymacrandle, where he and his wife (Sarah SOMERVILLE) had at least one son, Joseph, (b. 13 March 1875).
Judith HENRY was born in Lylo, the daughter of William HENRY, and grand-daughter of Rev Robert HENRY and Sarah (nee HARRISON) of Seagoe Parish
Her mother was Elizabeth TWYNEM, daughter of James TWYNEM and Ann (nee HAYES).
Are you able to add anything that might get me closer to solving this one?
Many thanks.

Hi Alan,
Welcome to Rootchats.
It is a policy of Rootchats that we don't have the names of the living on the thread, this is to prevent Spam and abuse. From what you have said it sounds like Keith's wife is still alive, I suggest you remove the name. Hi there KHP, if it wouldn,t be too much trouble, any photos you may have of my ancesters will be greatly received. The furtherist back I can trace online is Hart and Jane Udy,.I downloaded a photo of them from Wrigglesworth Binns Collection taken in the 1860,s or it could be John and Elizabeth Udy.It makes it hard to research when my family tree has two surnames, Hart and Udy. Hart Udy married Jane ???in the early 1830,s40,s.. Regards Alan aka Roman Oz

No trouble at all, I just need to get in touch with the council for the burial plots layout plan, as mine as gone walkabouts. The cemetery is divided into the four church sections.
Will let you know when I have taken them.

Hi Alan,
No trace of Keith at Pukekohe Cemetery, could this be him at Manukau Memorial Gardens? The Funeral Director used is the one who deals with the Franklin (Pukekohe) area. I am sure some kind Chatter will take a photo for you. :)

I am interested in tracing connections with the Hart family of Pukekohe.
My great aunt Margaret Turbott married John James Hart of Pukekohe in Harrisville in 1887.
Her parents came to New Zealand from Ireland on the "Ganges" in 1864 with the Hart family.
-
Hi I am the gt gt granddaughter of John James Hart and Margaret Turbott. Just saw your post. What would you like to know? Will help if I can.
-
It is great to hear from you.
I have assembled quite a lot of information about the descendants of James and Catherine Turbott (my great grandparents) who came to New Zealand from County Tyrone on the "Ganges" in 1865.
Margaret ("Maggie") was their first New Zealand born daughter. It is her family I know least about and I would be very happy to find out more - perhaps we could correspond by email.
Incidentally, there was a reunion of "Ganges" descendants in Pukekohe last year, and Ross Miller is now writing a book about the various families and their descendants.
Best wishes,
John Turbott

Hi John,
It would pay to remove your email address as it is not allowed on Rootschat postings. Shaz needs at least two more postings, then you will be able to swap email addresses.
