Title: CLARKE of Maisemore
Post by: dex345 on Tuesday 07 September 10 05:28 BST (UK)
I wish information on the Clarke family of Maismore, Gloucestershire from the early 1800's through til the 1900's.  My grandmother Beatrice Clarke or Clark was born in Maisemore in 1886 and her father was Joseph Clarke and her mother was Emma Clarke.  Her Grandfather was John Clarke.  For awhile they lived at the old Bell Farm.

Here's a photograph of Beatrice Emma Clarke standing outside Bell House Farm in approx 1899

[well I was going to upload a photo here - but it's not giving me the option after hitting the words "Attach a photograph or image..." - please advise how I can do that]

It's a pity that I went to the trouble of registering here following this forum coming up in a Google alert in order to supply information which it doesn't appear has been seen...

Thankyou for that photo of Beatrice Emma Clarke.  I have a similar but different version of that photo.  I would like to know who sent it to you and if you have any information of present friends or family in England that I could contact.  Again many thanks.
