I get frustrated when I go onto these sites and find information that MIGHT be relevant to me, but in order to find out I have to pay, which I dont mind. BUT I dont have a credit card. Are there any sites that have another method of paying?? ?
Cheers

Which sites are you referring to?
I do know that the 1901 census site, and 1837online allow you to pay by debit card (Switch/Maestro). I am sure there are other sites that provide this also.

If you are with BT look at
www.btclickandbuy.com
You can pay on your phone bill, but at the moment I can only see two sites that you might useon there.
"1837 online" and "link my family tree".
Hope this helps.

I know in Australia many credit unions/building societies have debit visa cards. i.e. looks and behaves like a credit card, but you have to have the funds in the bank to use it. I'm sure there is probably a similar card in England.

www.1901census.nationalarchives.gov.uk
On this site you do need a credit card, as you can purchase payment vouchers from your local library.
