I have found some records on Family Search but cannot not find any other info on this church.
Did it have another name? Anyone know exactly where it was?
Thanks :)

If you go to Manchester image web site and put " Christ Church Square - Queens Street " in the search engine it has a few pictures of where it was and surrounding area.
Click here for Manchester image site (http://www.images.manchester.gov.uk/)

I think this may be the church you are after..........it was part of the Church of Christ sect.

thanks but that one is in Rusholme, this is what it says on Family Search beta
"Church of Christ, Hulme (near Manchester, Lancashire, England"

Hi. What I am trying to say is that the Church of Christ is a separate sect and not part of the Church of England. May be worth googling for more info. R.

Ah! I see! thanks :)

Hi Parmesan,
Did you solve the location of the records? I have now found relatives at Church of Christ, Hulme too.
I have found the following:-
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=titledetails&titleno=63128&disp=Church+records &columns=*,0,0
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=titledetails&titleno=63128&disp=Church+records &columns=*,0,0
As this is a link to a London Church of Latter-Day Saints I won't be travelling down from Manchester.

Many thanks for that info Paul.
I am making a list of films I need to order!

The Lancs OPC lists it as 'Bible Christian', opened 1810, closed 1890 and registers at Manchester Central Library.
Didn't realise it was located there-somewhere else to look for some missing burials.
