Title: Greenaway Family Cargans Northern Ireland

My ggrandfather, William Greenaway, came from Cargans, NIreland. His parents were Isaac Greenaway and Sarah Greenaway nee Fryer. William was born c 1826 and came to Victoria Australia in 1850. He resided at Carisbrook near Maryborough, Victoria. William married Margaret Greenaway at Maryborough, Victoria 1871. Margaret Greenaway's parents being Joseph Greenaway born c1824 Co. Armagh & Mary Greenaway nee Napier. Joseph and Mary married Ballymore, Co Armagh 1849. Joseph's parents were James Greenaway and Catherine Greenaway nee Grant.
William's brother George also came to Victoria.
William also corresponded with his cousin David Fryer Greenaway who had emigrated to New Zealand. David's parents were Francis Greenaway and Ann Greenaway nee Fryer. Looking for anyone who may have information to share.

I am looking for information regarding george greenaway from cargans Tandragee who may have gone to Australia
sometime after 1921. He was originally married to Elizabeth McGuiggan they had four children.

His father was also called George could this be some of your relations. I know his father had brother called Francis.

   4 Apr 1912 Thomas George Greenaway married Elizabeth McGuiggan in Banbridge Civil Registrars Office.

Members of our wider family have DNA matches to tests of direct descendants of Isaac Greenaway & Sarah Fryer.  I would be interested to compare notes.

First three children born in 1913, 1919 and 1920.
