Title: Date/identify the people please, possibly McAdams Dumfriesshire

Can anyone help me identify the era this photo was taken in?

I know it is a long shot, but I am also interested in seeing if anyone can identify the people in the photo.  It may be that they are McAdams who lived in the Dumfries area (possibly Whitehill Farm) or Johnstonbridge

Not much to date but my estimate would be 1910-1915 or thereabouts.
