any information on a John Deighan that died 1857 in Magilligan and had a son Neil born 1849?? They immigrated to the US and settled in New Jersey.

What sort of information are you looking for? If it's details about the family in Ireland I can move your post to Londonderry board (if its the Magilligan in Co. Derry)- although be aware that it will be difficult to get records for those dates.
If it's details about them in America I can move it to that board.

Hi, I'm also looking for information on the Deighan family in Magilligan County Derry. I'm looking for Mary Deighan (1821 - 05 Aug 1894) married John Cust of Limavady. I think Mary Deighan Cust died in Limavady. Is she in your family?

   Mary Deighan married John Cust on 21 Apr 1851 in Bellarena Roman Catholic Church, Magilligan.
