Hi

Do you have them on the 1881 census - free to search at http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp

This should give ages and places of birth so we know where to look  :)

I cant see any living in Nottingham although there is a possible couple in Gloucester in 1881  :-\

I think you should get their marriage certificate first for their ages and fathers names, that will help to find their accurate  births.

Presumably as they are g grandparents the had at least one child.
That child name and year and pob will help find the family on a later census, and thus find years and pobs for Charles and Mary Ann

(tho' Mort has got them already!!!)

Hello....

I remember now giving you the details for Charles Wagstaff & his family...... a long time ago.....

As Charles gives his birthplace as Boston, Lincolnshire it might be worth asking on the Lincolnshire board in case they have access to his baptism etc.

The marriage certificate would give the names of the fathers....but I think this family is Mary Ann's - I haven't found a baptism for her and the only one for any of Thomas & Rachel Sisson's children was this.

Baptism at Greasley  - parents Thomas & Rachel Sisson
