Title: Richard HAWKE 1808

I need to verify the parents of Richard Hawke (born 1808) who married Jennifer Renfrey and emigrated to Australia in 1851. I know his grandfather was William and different sources have named his father either John or Nathaniel and his mother either Ann Bawden or Mary Metters. Can anyone fill in this gap for me?

The Family Search pilot site has recently made images of many Cornwall parish registers available - Gwennap is there, with the dates you need.

There is a Richard James, son of John and Ann Hawke, baptised on July 21 1808.

Go to Gwennap, baptisms & burials 1787-1812, and go to page 77.

Thanks Trish for your response, I realise these are old posts but as I only started doing my Family Tree a couple of years ago, I thought that I'd leave the message just in case Ann still keeps track of responses on RootsChat or anyone else who is interested or has information could contact me...
