Hi
The children of Alexander and Catherine from IGI were:
O = Olrig B = Bower
1813 -James -B
1815 - John - B
1817- Elizabeth - B
1820 - Margaret - B
1821 - Anna - O
1823 - Margaret - O
1825-Catherine - O
1827 - David - O
1828 - William - O
1832 - Alexander - O
1836 - David (? ) Dunnet
So, if they used the traditional naming convention, Catherine's parents would be a John and Elisabeth
Most likely baptism ~
6 Dec 1789 - Catherine d/o John Clyne and Elizabeth Manson
This is not definite but a good possible.
Do you have them on the 1841 or later censuses to get an idea of her age?

In 1851
Greenland, Dunnet
36 ED 4 page 10
Younger
Alexander, *45 65, farmer of 80 acres employing 5 labourers, b. Olrig
Catherine, 55, b. Bower
James, 35, farm labourer, b. Bower
John, 33, ag labourer, b. Bower
Elisabeth, 30, general servant , b. -do-
Ann, 27, -do- , b. Olrig
Margaret, 25. -do-. -do-
William, 20, farm labourer. b. -do-
Alexander, 14, -do-, -do-
Alexander Sinclar, servant, 13, herer, b. Olrig
*Something is wrong with Alexander's age - I'll re-check with the 1841.

*Added - in 1841, Alexander is 55 so he would be 65 in 1851 and not as stated

Catherine Younger died 1858, Dunnet, aged 65.
Scotlands People give her other surname as Clyne and her mother's name as Manson, so I think the 1789 bpt that I found is correct.

Thank you, but still struggling. Cannot pin her down.

Hi
How do you mean 'not pin her down' ?
I've given you a baptism, her children, the 1851 census and her death (which gives her parents' names). There's not much more to pin down really is there as you have her marriage :-\
