Title: WHETREN family
Post by: Palmtree17 on Saturday 21 August 10 16:16 BST (UK)
I have an interest in the Whetren family, which are predominently from the New Forest villages of Copythorne, Minstead, Netley Marsh, Totton, Eling areas near Southampton. Most members are Agricultural labourers.

I have quite a bit of information, but I am always looking to build on this further. If you are researching the same family I would be interested to hear from you.

Steven Palmer.

Hi Steven

I have an interest in the Palmer family and was wondering if you could help me.

I am looking for a birth certificate of Lillian Palmer. She was born in 1918 in England, to Georgine Harriet Palmer nee Lacey.

Georgine Palmer came to South Africa with Lillian and Kathleen her daughters, and another daughter Mary was born in Cape Town, but died at an early age.

Lillian married Arthur Huxtable in Rhodesia in 1940, and died in 1972 from Lung cancer.

Do you think you can help at all? Ps Sorry I had to change the date to 1918 apologies

Best Regards

Sharon

Sharon,
I'm very sorry, although I do have quite a few Palmer's in my tree, I am afraid that I don't have any of those you've named at this time. Should I discover them linked to my tree I will get back to you. There are quite a few Palmer's in Somerset, not all of them closely connected.
Good luck in your search,
Regards Steven.
