Living in England I've grasped how to look up on the BMD site then go to
our GRO site to order certificates.
I need to look up and then order death certificates problem is I don't know their
exact address only they lived Northern Melbourne - Victoria, Australia.
Please can anybody tell me where and how I can do it :D

You can search here at this link - however it will cost you.
https://online.justice.vic.gov.au/bdm/index-search?action=getHistIdxSearchCriteria
Or you could post the names of the people you are searching for, and a "Chatter"who has access to the Death records (to 1985) on CD, will do a lookup for you.
Then with this information you can order (or download) the record from the Registry of BMD's. If you click on the link, I have given you, you can go the Home page and find all the information that you need.

If I was to post their names would I do it here... or in a different area of this site? Rootschat is quite new to me :-\
Would it just be their names or approx date of deaths as well?

IT would be better if you can tell us their names and maiden name if a married woman and if you have the details their parents names and when they were born.
Victorian certificates have a good deal of information on them. but the record will only be as good as the informants knowledge of the deceased

Joy King nee Stone born approx 1944 Stourbridge Dudley England, Death date approx 1992
Married to Lenny King.
Brian Stone born approx 1947 Stourbridge Dudley England, Death date approx 1978
Married to Helena Bolaner.
Martin Stone born approx 1952 Stourbridge Dudley England, Death date approx 1994

Where did you get the year of deaths from for Brian & Martin?
Did they have any middle names?
What were their parents names? Jenn asked you this earlier :)

I have been In touch with my Aunt who I got the information from and Brian lived in, Queensland, Townsville & Region - Queensland.

They moved from England in the 1970's to Australia.
They probably did have middle names, but my aunts notes are rather sketchy. :-\ sorry.

I dont think you will be able to get their death certificates too easily for the family members who died in the 1990's etc etc as Australia is not like England in that regard as we have time limits on how long a person has been deceased before open access to certificates

If you look at the link that Sarra gave you in reply no 1 you will see that you can apply in some instances after 10 years but you need proof of identiy ec.
tPerhaps if you sent an email to the Victorian BDM stating your case you could find out from them as to the requirements.

You can see the death/funeral notice for Martin Stone
It costs $5.00 AUS to view the etire notice but you will see his wifes name and family members
As he died young his wife may be still living as well
