I'm trying to find records of Noel Charles Furlong. I believe he trained at Sandhurst. He grew up in Doneraile, Ireland, but later moved to England where he lived at Skeffington Hall in Leicestershire. He trained horses, winning the Grand national in 1935 with his horse 'Reynoldstown'. His son Frank was in the Fleet Air Arm and died whilst a test pilot of the Supermarine Spiteful.
