Hi Lee
Your findings for Thomas Daniel on the 1871 census look good to me. The family hadn’t moved far for Deri Newydd and Tay Coch [1861 address] were in the same enumerators district at that time. It is likely that Thomas snr had found employment in the Darren, Deri colliery and moved the family closer to his work.
He would have been 80ish by the time of the 1881 if alive but I can not locate him. Ann, his wife was relatively a lot younger but I couldn’t find her either. I have found what I think is the son Thomas jnr but that’s it. It needs investigating.
Thanks for the 1871 details, I'll get back as soon as I have found something.
Regards, Roy
