Wondering how far back the surname goes in the area. My own branch
is descended from the marriage of James Gillon and Margaret Borthwick
in Linlithgow in March 1712.
I've also seen earlier Christenings of.
John Gillon, 21st Oct 1638 Linlithgow
George Gillon, 30th Jan 1628 Linlithgow
Trying to find a Patrick Gillon, christened around these dates, perhaps
1635 in Linlithgow.
