Post by: kathleenmitchell on Saturday 14 August 10 16:48 BST (UK)
Hi

I am asking this on behalf of a friend.  A relative of his was in a childrens home in Bank Street Greenock in the 1920s, he has tried to find out information on the home, but has drawn a blank, does anyone know of this place
many thanks
Kathy

Write to Sharon McAlees at Dalrymple House, 195, Dalrymple Street, Greenock.  There should be records on your friend but s/he will have to ask for them him/herself.  Bank Street was a home in Greenock until fairly recently.   :)
