I am trying to touch base with anyone looking for Rena Margaret Hall.  I have seen many queries about her relationship with the Haining family from New Zealand over the last few months and have come on board to give you details.  Anyone there still looking?

Hi,
How exciting.  I am doing my family tree and found through various contacts that my great grandmother was Martha Haining, mother of Rena Margaret Hall and as we thought Teresa Hall (although we knew that Aunty Tess (teresa) was our nan's half sister).  We knew nothing about Martha but I have since found that she was Haining and left New Zealand, came to Australia with her youngest and met Robert Hall and therefore had our nan Rena.  Anything you have on the Haining family would be excellent.  We don't believe that our nan Rena knew of her othe family.
Would love to hear more from you if you have anythng to share.  I can certainly fill you in on Rena and her immediate family if you ned it.

Hello Rena

We believe Martha came to Australia I have not found the immigration records or that she married here in New South Wales.

Her Sons James and Robert also came to Australia I am decended from James Peter Haining.

I have some records I have anly recently begun the search for the family buit I do have some records I would be willing to share withyou.

I knew nothing of the Hall family at all.

Well a lot of my information is on people still living so I won't place that on the rootsChat but I can try and give you other information if I have any that you need.  I did know that a couple of Martha's sons came to NSW but only through other sources.
