Hi,
I believe that Henry was the younger brother of my great x2 grandfather, John Crossey. John was in the army and grew up in the area that you mention - in his army records his elder brother, James, and younger brother, Henry, are mentioned. The records also show that their parents were John Crossey and Elizabeth.
John settled in Scotland, James travelled back and forth between Scotland and NI, and I believe Henry stayed in Ireland.
Any use?
