Title: Horace Stone from Leigh
Post by: davidrobin on Thursday 12 August 10 12:11 BST (UK)
Horace Stone (died 24/04/1941 aged 76). 1911 Census gives Leigh as place of birth. Possibly christened 01/01/1865.  Possible parents were James STONE & Elizabeth COLESTOCK.  Can someone look up the marriage which may have taken place in 1855 if my research on FreeBMD is correct. Can you also see if there were any other children of the marriage.  Thank you.

Have you located this couple (& Horace later) on the 1861/71 census - or is he not with these parents?

This family - kids ages fit a mid-1850s marriage - looks good, as does the area.
