Title: Rice family
Post by: JosiePie on Monday 09 August 10 21:54 BST (UK)
Hi,

I've just started researching my dad's family tree and despite him always believing that we came from Glasgow and his parents were the first generation to live in Aberdeen, I've now discovered that we MAINLY came from Aberdeen with the odd foray down to Glasgow!

Anyway, I'm having great fun researching it all, the only down side is that so far, all the addresses I have from census' no longer exist - they are either under the Bon Accord centre or the College!

Would love to hear from anyone who ties into the Rice family at all!

Jo

Thanks for that - I posted the other thread as Jemima married James, my gt x3 grandfather!
