Title: Another Missing Hammett?
Post by: Loughboy on Monday 09 August 10 20:28 BST (UK)
Has anyone any information about a James Hammet bptsd 31.07.1783 In Milton Abbas and married to Martha Lewis 1801 by licence, he was a son of William Hammett and Jane Lovell I believe. No amount of searching seems to have thrown up this man though I might be looking in the wrong place. Also  I have the death cert of Wm Hammett b 1838 M.A who died 30.08.1908, Bitterne Southampton in the presence of his daughter Edith. i cannot trace any Edith in my family, Wm would be my GGGrandfather. Any help much appreciated. Thank you
