as a child i was shown by the lady in the post office a square like a a market square where a church stood at the top of this square and she told me that the square was called Ashwood sq and some one named snowy ashwood preached there,this gentleman had a long white beard hence the name
can anyone verify this believe me this happened a long time ago,but i am sure i did not dream this

Denny Square was in the town of Denny in Stirlingshire

No sign of an 'Ashwood' or that it was at the head of a 'Square'
According to an article published by Falkirk Local History on their website, the church was built in 1813.
