Thanks
But I think John is another brother. Thomas John is the one I'm now looking for b 1856
I think John b1859 is the one you've found.
The family is a bit confusing they keep using the same names !!!
I've had a good look but can't find them think I might ask tricia she found the John Thomas I was looking for before. He was mistranscribed as valter or something !!!
If anyone finds Thomas John b 1856 let me know
thanks to everyone

Hi, Janey,
I have had a look round for you but quite honestly if Casalguidi can't spot them then I'm sure that I can't. We do use the same search methods so any mistranscriptions are usually no problem.
In 1881 Elizabeth, the wife is back with the family, confirming it is correct. I suspect that maybe Thomas John and Elizabeth may be together in 1871 but goodness knows where.
This is 1881
Eliza Valsler abt 1831 Chatham, Kent, England Wife Rochester St Margaret
Henry A. Valsler abt 1867 Rochester, Kent, England Son Houseboy Rochester St Margaret
James R Valsler abt 1833 Chatham, Kent, England Head Plumber Rochester St Margaret
William H. Valsler abt 1863 Rochester, Kent, England Son Printer Rochester St Margaret
James is indexed as James A but it looks like R on the census.
I'll have another look on 1871 but don't hold your breath.

Thank you Casalguidi and Tricia, Greysquirrel and Michael
With all the help I am getting on like a house on fire. I have now managed to link all the valslers together. But must now double check everything because sometimes I get carrried away and think they are linked when they are not. So many similar names and dates. Us amateurs do get over excited.
Thanks for all the help. Since joining Rootschat my family tree now has 328 families and 1141 individuals.
Thank you all so much
Janey
