Can anyone tell me where this hotel was please. It was around in the 1940-50s - perhaps earlier.
Thank you

Susie is quite right ;D It was on the section of Rundle Street between Pulteney Street and Gawler Place that is now Rundle Mall. Susie's link has expired so have posted this one.

Information on the Hotel Rundle is in The Mail,
23 November 1935, page 22c.
81 Rundle Mall, Adelaide appears to be now occupied by the department store, Harris Scarfe.

Thank you all!!!! :D
My mother in law's uncle Sidney Hegarty owned the Hotel Rundle in the 1940s and she'll be tickled pink to see a photo of it. We knew he had a farm at Echunga but had no idea about the hotel until recently.
Rootschatters are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!
