I am trying to find a connection between Edward Paxton Rathbone born 1868 in London and any Rathbone of Stretton on Dunsmore, Warwickshire.
Edward's parents were born in the London area, however Edward is buried in Stretton on Dunsmore Churchyard. He died 31st October 1897 at Stretton on Dunsmore.

Hi
This wont have an easy answer, it will be a case of researching him as much as possible until a link is found or not.
Have you found him in all the censuses to see if/when he moved to Stretton?
Have you found his parents in all the censuses?
Have you found their marriage (if not let us have the names, and mums maiden name from edwrd's birth cert)
And then them back in the censuses to see where their parents came from etc

On the 1891 census the Rathbones, including Edward who was a corn merchant were in Streatham London. Harry had remarried. His second wife was Clara aged 48 born Tunbridge Wells Kent.
Any connection to Warwickshire, if there is one, would seem more likely through the maternal line, not the Rathbone paternal line.
