Hi :D
I was wondering if any kind soul out there could look up a, Alfred Henry Grist born in the London area c1885?
Probably in and around the Paddington area, sorry don't really know London very well.
Don't have much more info on him than that.

Hi,

There is only one Alfred Henry Grist listed on the BMD and he was registered in Westbury Wiltshire in December Qtr. 1881. Volume 5a page 142.

Have you tried searching for your Alfred on the 1911 census.  It is free to search at
www.1911census.co.uk  ;)

I don't know if you found the information you required from the 1911. If not, following on from mosiefish, i've just seen this:-

Moderator comment: Edited for content, look-ups from the 1911 census are not allowed and maybe removed by the Copyright team.

Alfred Henry Grist married Bessie Rastin AMJ 1908 in Richmond Surrey. volume 2a page 951.

Bessie is on 1891 and 1901 census and both say she was born in Basingstoke 1883 and living in Mortlake, Surrey, but so far haven't picked up a birth for Bessie Rastin.

Hope this is the right one.
