can anyone help me find my g-grandmothers' brother? he was born on 7 feb 1892 in wollaston, stourbridge. i can find his birth record but nothing else on him. thanks bev

his father was in the army but i know he wasnt a high ranking officer unless albert made it up! I have seen the marriage before but wasnt sure. Bev

Pipe-major isn't particularly high-ranking. It's a job title, not a rank

i think he was in the seaforth highlanders, and went to india so could well be the right albert  bev
