Hi and welcome to Rootschat
Are you descended from one of the children of Abraham & Hannah?
If so - can you please give us full details of that child as we may be able to find him that way

Is Hannah on the 1881 census living with the Ballard family in Northumberland
If so - no children at that time - Hannah was b 1847 York and is shown as married.

Abraham and Hannah are my GGGgrandparents. It now appears that Abraham was lost at sea on a ship called the Jessie Douglas on its way back to Liverpool from the USA. Hannah appears to have then become a grocer, I assume from home.
I think Abrahams parents were John and Ann Margetson who lived in Thompson Norfolk so am trying to find out more about them.
The marriage was 4.6.1877 and John was 40 and Hannah 30. Both fathers were called John http://pilot.familysearch.org
