Hi,
My x3 Great Nan was A Tailoress and resided at '2 Court 5 Oxfords Street' in wolverhampton, I am unable to find such a location, of course it may not exist anymore, but i'm just seeing if she may have had a business here, as it would be interesing to find out more about it.
Could Anyone Help me?
Are there any websites that would have photos of old streets in wolverhampton circa 1900-1911, so i could try and find this location and possible pictures of her if it was a business.
She was Called Emily Harper (Nee Grimes) 1849-1923
Regards,
Joel Fraser

Hello,
Maps.live.com for Wolverhampton does show Oxford Street, (look at Bird's eye view) but it seems to have been truncated with the building of the ring road. One side appears to be a car park and on the other there is a modern building. The nearby streets also look to have been rebuilt during the twentieth century.
I looked at the enumerator's description of the area (District 21 Wolverhampton Eastern) on the 1901 census and the streets listed are all still there, but, as I said above, probably greatly changed.

Hi Joel
You could try the following link

There are contact buttons to enable you to contact the owners and, I would assume, ask questions.
