Title: 1841 lookup request for DUCE (Lambeth)

I would welcome any details from the 1841 census for the following family.  They must be in the Southwark or Lambeth area somewhere:

DUCE, Charles (b 1814)
wife - DUCE, Jane (b 1809 St George the Martyr)
dau - DUCE, Jane (b 1835, St George the Martyr)
dau - DUCE, Ann (b 1837 St George the Martyr)
son - DUCE, Charles (b 1838 Southwark)

Charles Duce married Jane Wisdom in 1833 in St Mary's, Lambeth.

Hello Biker

Yes I am still hoping to find this information.  The only other details I have are that Charles Duce senior was a shoemaker.  The family were in Queen Street, Lambeth in 1851, and in Park Place, Newinton in 1861.  They must be around there somewhere!

I hope that someone can help locate them in 1841.

HO107/1060  book 6  folios 41-49.

No Duce family found, sorry.

Hi Jane,

I'm also looking for information on a 'Duce' family but from Bethnal Green. I'm not sure how close it is to your Lambeth area - but I am having absolutely no luck - which is I'm thinking due to the transcribers taking the census not being able to spell the surname. Have you come across in your searches a John and Susan Duce by any chance (banging my head on the desk).

John Duce, 25, ?looks like De for occupation, born MDX
Susan Duce, 25, ? looks like Ind (independent) b. MDX
John, 5, b MDX.
