Title: Ella Jones
Post by: Dannemois on Saturday 24 July 10 15:10 BST (UK)
On the 1881 census Ella Jones was recorded as aged 11, born Brilley, Hereford and residing at home with parents James & Harriet at Mile Cottage, Huntington in Knighton, Hereford where her father was employed as a farm labourer.

I believe the marriage entry below is the very same Ella and would like to locate her on the 1891 census; can you help?

Marriages Mar 1894
Jones  Ella     Merthyr T.  11a 769
Turner  Alfred     Merthyr T.  11a 769

Other info that may help: On the 1891 census Alfred Turner a native of Worcester, was recorded as 19 and lodging at Commercial Street, New Tredegar [RG12/435749/21] in the home of William & Margaret Jones.  I believe Afred & Ella came to Brithdir, nr New Tredegar in c.1897, settled and raised their family at 13 Charles Street.

Hello,
here is one to think about:

1891 RG12; Piece: 4392; Folio 139; Page 73

Ella Jones 20 yrs born Herefordshire is a gneral servant at the home of the Scott family in Cardiff

By the way, 1881 doesn't show any other Ella Jones born Herefordshire which makes this one look promising.
