Title: Easington Area Burials COMPLETED
Post by: Lellylou on Thursday 22 July 10 17:31 BST (UK)
Hi,I wonder if anyone can help me.....I have 3 members of the same family, father, mother and daughter, all  deaths registered in the same area.I know for certain that 2 are burials (father and daughter) from Durham Records Online.Would all three be buried in the same Cemetary do you think? How would I find out where they are and who would I contact? Just a bit stumped....... Many thanks

Hi,
According to NBI James was buried 10 Dec 1879 (aged 73) and Anne 13 Jan 1885 (aged 71) in Monk Hesleden, St. Mary

There is no mention of Mary, maybe because those dates have yet to be transcribed?

The other Sandersons buried in Monk Hesleden, St Mary are

Elizabeth Ann, 3 Aug 1878, aged 15m
George, 8 Apr 1875, aged 1
George. 31 Oct 1892, aged 41
John, 29 Apr 1873, aged 1+
John, 23 May 1874, infant
Mary Jane, 2 Sep 1880, aged 17m

I have Monumental Inscriptions for St. Mary but no Sandersons are mentioned

Update - There is a Mary Ann Sanderson buried 21 Nov 1843 in Wingate Grange, Holy Trinity, aged 5 years.  I think this is only a couple of miles from Hutton Henry

Cheers
