I'm hoping someone can help me out by finding some evidence of an Angus Cameron who was living in America in 1856 and may have been a farmer. His wife's last name was McLean, her first name has been recorded as Dorothy or Elthea but could be something else altogether. I don't have any more details except that a son (who emigrated to Australia) was born about 1830, so I imagine that Angus would have been born c1800, plus or minus 10 years. Not many details to go on, I know and any help would be greatly appreciated.

What was the son's name and where was he born? I see four Angus Camerons born in Scotland between 1890-1910 and one from Tobago.

Thanks for the help. The son's name was Roderick. He was born in the Bracadale parish on the Isle of Skye which is in the county of Inverness in Scotland. Angus probably came from Skye as well but I don't have any evidence.

Even with Roderick's name, I am coming up blank. Sorry I could not be of more help.
