Title: Lookup request - John McCune

I am interested in a marriage lookup for John McCune to Ann Simpson, 7 Feb 1856, Ballygowan Presbyterian Church, Killinchy Newtownards, Down

I am specifically interested in the names of the parents of the groom and bride.

    Fathers were James McCune and James Simpson.

Irish marriage certificates only list fathers' names and occupations- mothers' names are never listed.

Was there any other info listed for James McCune, such as occupation or domicile?

There are so many John McCunes in Down, I am trying to identify the correct ancestor.   I have gotten feedback from others researching the McCunes, and want to make sure I am not mixing them up.

I am pretty sure it is the John McCune that married Ann Simpson, as they were married in the Ballygowan Presbyterian church, which matches the other McCunes in my line.

Irish marriage certificates will list residence of bride and groom at the time of the marriage and fathers' names and occupations but you will need to purchase the certificate to see full details.
