Hi,
Can anyone help me with a burial. My Great Grand father died here in Australia in 1950, his ashes were collected from the funeral home by a family member and taken back to England.  William John Bennett B. 30 May1891, Plymouth England, Father Alfred Alexander Bennett, Mother Amelia Fanny Gillard.

Can anyone help me with where he might be buried now????

Maybe he was scattered on the sea??  I doubt there will be much of a memorial.. they usually only keep a remembrance book for 'ashes'

If he was taken back to England it suggests that perhaps the ashes were going to be buried in or scattered on a family grave so perhaps a good starting point maybe to find out where his parents are buried.......

As he was born in Plymouth it may be a good idea to put this request on the Devon board too.

If your Alfred Alexander Bennett is who I beleive he may be, he was born in Cornwall his father was Alexander Bennett born Sussex and married to Alice Julia Jennings of cornwall. Alexander J Bennett is my wifes ancester.
