To anyone that might be interested, I have in my possesion a Photo Album containing many photos of Hare family members dating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's.
The album came into my hands via my grandmother Lillian Stennett (Cooling) who came to Lincolnshire from Manchester in 1910 following the death of her mother. She lived with her Aunt Elizabeth (Cooling) and her husband Samuel Hare at Tattershall Thorpe and later at Coningsby.

Hi
Great photos! I don't know the Hare family but I originally come from Oldham. What else have you got?
Cheers
Wendy

The two photos I chose to post just happen to show Samuel Hare working as a drayman and on his wedding day. Samuel maried Elizabeth Cooling in Dukinfield on 1st January 1895. They moved to Lincolnshire at some point before 1901. Most of the photos are of Hare family members in Lincolnshire.
Here are a couple more photos from the album. One of Samuel Hare working as a drayman and one of John Hare, Samuel's father.

Thanks for your interest! I don't have anything specific to Horncastle. I see that you are also interested in FAWCETT from the area: here's a Fawcett photo for you, well it's both Hare and Fawcett. I hope that it is of interest.

Great photos! I don't have (i think) links to the Hare family but Tattershall Thorpe in Lincs is definitely one of my interests - and it's not that big a place!
-
Thanks for your interest.
Samuel Hare & his wife Elizabeth (Cooling) lived at the Water Mill, Tattershall Thorpe which was unfortunately destroyed by fire some years ago. I remember it derelict as a child when my dad used to take me fishing in the Mill pond and along the river Bain. Happy memories.

unsure if you received my message recently - I have the Hares of Coningsby in my family tree - mine (george)moved to Grantham after marrying my great granfather's sister (mary ann Barber)

Hi Mary, Sorry I must have missed your message.
I am not entirely sure if there is a connection.
As the Hare family are not a blood line I have not done a great deal of research on them as yet.
I am really hoping that a close family member will find this posting so that the photos can be returned to the Hare family.
Keep searching if you find a definite link let me know.
Regards Steve

Hi Steve
I found your message regarding the Hare family photos. My family of Hares all lived in Lincolnshire and I can trace back to Joseph Hare b1812 (Wigtoft) who married Ann Dixon. I am unable to trace futher back than that but have many names earlier than this should it help. Also, most of them lived in boston, frieston area. Any chance that I might be a lucky relative? ;D
Many Thanks, Kate
