Title: HMS Warspite - crew
Post by: scotsbornaussie on Friday 09 July 10 06:49 BST (UK)
Hello,

I found a photo of my Uncle in a Royal Naval uniform, and on the back of the photo was HMS Warspite, His name is William Bain and he was born around 1908 in Nairn Scotland.  I was told he was a Chief Petty Officer and one of the ships he was on was torpedoed and he spent 4 days in the sea not sure where or when.  He died in the early 50's.  Can you help me trace is naval history, Thank you.
