Any information on burials of the GANE family would be appreciated 1850's onwards. We went to the area last summer but there was a wedding on in the church so we could not go in.Found a headstone for Elihu Gane, but I don't think he is part of my family.
Thanks

For future reference, you will find Trevethin parish records and lots of other Monmouthshire parish records, wills, and other information on Mike John's invaluable website:

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. It will take me hours to go through,so the ironing will just have to wait!

Enjoy and blow the ironing!

Thanks Anne, and to those who have taken so much time and effort to make such a wealth of information available. I'm still searching through it but it has thrown up a huge amount of possible rellies, so the ironing now looks like Mount Everest and I want to watch WDYTYA later. Never mind!
