Searching for information re Patrick Cassidy born abt 1864. Married Jenet McDonald & lived in Kilkenny where sons Michael & Patrick were born abt 1894. They emigrated to Australia in early 1900s. Religion was Roman Catholic.

Full civil registration started in 1864, so Patrick's birth may just be included. You can search a index to Irish BMD records online and use the details to order certs from the GRO - see : Introduction to Irish Records (http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,442233.0.html)

It might also be worth checking the 1901 and 1911 census returns - see :  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ to see if you can find Patrick, Jenet(Janet?) and family

do you know where in Co. Kilkenny they lived ?
