Title: Howard's Dairy London Road Westcliff-on-sea
Post by: nicknobbyclark on Saturday 03 July 10 23:07 BST (UK)
I've just found out that my Grandfather worked at Howard's Dairy on London Road Westcliff-on-Sea up until around 1942. His family were later forced to move form St Helens Road after bombing seriously damaged their home.

Does any one have further information or photographs of Howard's Dairy?

Perhaps a forum member may remember the bombing in this area of Westcliff?

Thanks
Nick

Hi,

This maybe not much help but I have researched the Howard Dairy of Wood Green (not connected to the Westcliff on Sea Dairy as far as I know) and come across photos, vehicles, bottles etc. of the Westcliffe Dairy on ebay.

I don't think I have them saved but maybe can get one from another person interested in the Wood Green people who may have saved what I sent him.

Will ask.  Anyway keep looking on ebay, Howards of Westcliffe do turn up.

Selina
