Hi Polly
The 1871 census Tittesworth, Leek, shows William & Harriett living with Harriet's widowed father, William, a farmer of 20 acres.  Harriett was a dressmaker and William Brassington (25) was also recorded as being a farmer, born Elkstone, Staffordshire.
